Sriman Nathella Sampathu Chetty Garu
(1902-1977)

Nathella Vidhyodaya is founded under the aegis of NSC and Audikesavulu Gupta Trust. Sriman Nathella Sampathu Chetty Garu(1902-1977) was popularly and affectionately known as ‘Silver King’.

He ventured into jewellery business in 1928. As astute businessman, philanthropist and visionary, he entrenched many significant charitable activities which continue their silent work till date. He was a trailblazer in his time heading many charitable and Social Institutions in various capacities.

Nathella Vidhyodaya is a realization of his cherished dream of establishing a School deeply rooted in Indian values with global outlook and preparing the students to meet the demands of the 21st century.

Constructivism is implemented by

  • Experimentation: Students individually perform experiments individualy and then come together as a class to discuss the experience.
  • Field Trips: To enable students to apply the concepts and ideas discussed in class in a real life situation. Field trips would often be followed by class discussions.
  • Visual Communication: Visual communication is offered to construct visual content enabling third dimention enriching their learning experience.

Behaviorism

It is adapted by providing a learning platform to the students where they are encouraged to take part in social activities like Swachh Bharath, Marathons, extend help to the destitutes and the needy.

Essentialism

Essentialism is practised by various innovative and interesting stratergies in value based education.The young learners are given a wide exposure through workshops,and orientation programmes such as "Awakened Citizen Programme"(ACP) etc.

Ms. Radhika Nathella is always a cut above the rest of the contemporary world in bringing about dynamic changes to the pedagogy of Nathella Vidhyodaya. Be it organizing training and research programs for the teachers every year or introducing Smart Board Sessions for all classes,it is the correspondent’s thought to make learning interesting and effective.

At Nathella Vidhyodaya, students have all the factors for success with special mention about unparalleled facilities for academic activities, sporting, cultural activities, sprawling Play grounds and open spaces for recreation. The teaching faculties are highly qualified with required experience and are trained in delivering the syllabi with care and confidence.
